I can't stand the cuteness in these pictures....I had to share.
Where did the past 2 years go? I can't keep up! :)
<3
She always brings me her eggs, spices, and spoons when I cook. When I do things by the counter by the fridge she pulls a chair over to help. After I was done mixing up pizza crust she got her stuff and put it on the counter to make her own.
I've had enough of winter this year. We took this today after church....been snowing all day....again....this is how much we have AFTER some has melted...on our deck.
Blah!
She has been soooooo good lately in all we do and we continue to tell her how good she is and that she's a big girl. I just love her.
These are pictures of our beautiful, sweet girl at church. Playing so well before and she continued to do so during. She loves the singing and even raised her hand today. It was so precious!
She looks so cute in Neena's crocheted headband! :). Thanks mom!
Most would get upset with a toddler following and helping clean. Help in this instant....jumping and running in front of the sweeper and holding the sweeper cord. I just smile. Our daughter is so willing to help wherever, whenever. She always wants to help book, giving me her spices, she assists with baking, setting the table, emptying the dishwasher, help fold laundry, help with her cloth diapers, put clothes away, and put her clothes in her hamper. I haven't asked her to do any of this....she started on her own before she was a year old!
She has her popper that she uses like the sweeper like mommy. She is currently sweeping like I did earlier today...moving chairs, getting under her table, all the same stuff mommy did.
This just melts my heart as I sit her watching her....and asking her to not hit the walls. :)
Here's a picture of her in action. Love my little helper! Thank you Lord for our amazing little girl!
From the couch.
You'll hear a lot about my favorite windows....for awhile. :). My apologies. But God shows me a LOT of beauty looking through them and I find peace just staring out them. I even caught Caroline staring out them the other day. :)
Last night I was turning the kitchen light off over the stove and saw light on the floor. I said "the moon is really bright". Ron said it was the neighbor's dusk til dawn light. I disagreed because of how it was shining on the floor. I searched and found an almost full moon....shining brightly into our windows through the trees with bright stars all around.
Knowing it wouldn't be the best picture with my phone, I still wanted to capture it. Here's what I got...there is a star to the right of the moon but it doesn't show up well.
Thank you Lord for Your beauty day and night, especially through these wonderful windows!
I'm eager for spring so I can start my FIRST real garden...it'll be a ton of work but I can't wait!
This snow feels like its closing in on us. Our neighbor plows but it's a blade behind his tractor. With a road that's not too wide to start with it really closes in when the snow piles on each side and Luther doesn't give extra space. :). He has plowed our driveway each time too! As the piles get higher I feel more and more claustrophobic. Its beautiful to look at though.
It of course had to be a record year for both cold and snow when we moved....super! Very thankful Ron's job is flexible and he can work from home on those bad days. And I'm thankful I stay home.
Here are some pictures of our deck. I put the phone at the bottom window of our door....we have at least 1 1/2 feet I'd say...and a few inches melted with the freezing rain in last Wednesday's storm. Needless to say, we haven't used the hot rub much lately. :(
I'm going to try to post more here than through Facebook...so check here more often or on my G+ account. Going to see how well uploading pictures through my phone to this blog works...bare with me.
To start you off...here's a picture of peanut today, opening her Valentine's day card from Poppa and Neena. She was so excited when I told her she got a card from Poppa and Neena! <3
