Ron helped....so it was nice to have the assistance...we got done in record time I think. It only made 9 pints but that's ok. They were free from a coworker (her son has a pear tree) so that was even better.
I always enjoy the sound of the pops too! That's the beginning of the reward for canning! :)

Look good. Maybe you should enter them in the fair like Mom is doing some of hers.
They look very 'white'! Great job. I hope they taste very good this winter!
I thought about fair stuff....but then you lose the whole jar...and when it only made 9 pints.....but thanks for the compliment that its good enough for the fair! :)
They did stay pretty white....I did the lemon juice...salt water just didn't sound good for pears....
I hope they're good too!
