So, Jen always posts her deals of the week and what to look for. Even though you're back in PA, Jen, we still apparently don't shop at the same stores! :)
I only got ONE good deal this week...
Giant Eagle had Giant Eagle brand large eggs on sale - 5 for $5. Last week when I got their yogurt that was on sale I got a coupon for $2 off my next grocery purchase. When I got to the check out line, I asked the cashier if she saw or knew of any minimum purchase for the coupon. She didn't see one either...SO, I got FIVE DOZEN eggs for $3!!!!
Ron asked what we'll do with 5 dozen eggs....I told him not to worry about it. We're going to KY to visit friends in a couple weeks and I said I'd cook for those of us staying at Dave's (save money and be healthier)...so we'll take some then...3 guys and me...I'm sure we'll go through some eggs if they really let me cook! :)

yeah! I like to read about other people's deals. I wish there was a Giant Eagle closer. Watch for grapes on sale at Aldi this week for .89/lb (I think it starts Wed.) And go to Rite Aid (or price comp at Walmart for a better selection) for Kashi cereal BOGO with coupons you can print online for $1.50 off x 2.
Check with mom/online but I think you can freeze whole eggs or separate for later use if you decide not to use them all now.
If you need a good recipe to use up a lot of eggs, make this cream cheese pound cake that takes 6. It's incredible - I'm going to blog about it soon!

I'm jealous of your deal, btw! ;)
That pound cake sound wonderful!
I got those eggs also and mine had Apr. 5 expiration on them so no problem using that many by monday following Easter with Easter eggs and the baking.
Don't believe I've ever frozen eggs but should work.
